The School of Health Sciences, which provides high-quality education to a range of undergraduate and post graduate programmes that lead to registration in nursing, midwifery, health visiting/school nursing, paramedic science, speech and language therapy. ODP’s, Physiotherapy and Physician Associates.  The University of Greenwich has made a significant investment in the Greenwich Learning and Simulation Centre (GLASC) and more recently The CCU (Critical Care Unit) on our Avery Hill and Medway Campuses to provide a cutting-edge simulated practise learning environment.

We are seeking a professional individual with excellent leadership skills and great technical/organisational and communication skills, managing a growing technical team within our state-of-the-art Greenwich Learning and Simulation Centre (GLASC), providing leadership and delivery to a high standard of a full range of clinical skills and simulation activity. You will have a strong knowledge base of audio-visual technology to provide efficient and effective support to enable the smooth running of the GLASC (Greenwich Learning and Simulation Centre).

You will be responsible for managing the workload of the technical team, ensuring the provision of day to day technical and IT support and the deployment of cutting-edge technology within curriculum across all of the specialist teaching facilities within the faculty, as well as general support across other provision.  

Previous experience of providing technical support and managing a team is essential in addition to knowledge of simulated environments, use of Hi-Fidelity patient simulation manikins and deployment of VR/AR/XR teaching tools would provide a distinct advantage.  

The successful candidate will hold a Degree or equivalent experience working within a clinical/simulated healthcare environment.
