Salary - AC3: £48,349 – £54,395 per annum
THE POST – Lecturer in Forensic Biology
Due to an investment in our teaching portfolio within our Paisley Campus, the School of Computing, Engineering and Physical Sciences is seeking applications from individuals to join the Forensic Science team as a Lecturer within the School’s Division of Engineering and Physical Sciences. You will join a dedicated team who strive to continuously inspire our students and wider University community, through modern teaching and impactful research.
Applicants for the post should have the following:
- Degree and relevant postgraduate/PhD qualification in Forensic Science or a directly related science subject. Experience of learning, teaching and assessment of Forensic Biology preferably in a Higher Education context. Professional experience of performing and reporting Forensic Biology casework. A membership of an appropriate professional body Appropriate evidence of external engagement which should be clearly in line with the School’s priority areas for the future (e.g. external engagement in terms of research, or knowledge exchange, or engagement with professional bodies or other external organisations). Commitment to delivering research led teaching and supporting an outstanding student experience.
