Role Description
About the Role
Prospective Research Fellows or Research Assistants in Modelling and Control of High-Performance Electric Vehicles will have experience in modelling of mechatronic systems and vehicle control and estimation design and validation, to work in the Advanced Vehicle Engineering Centre. This exciting new role is available as part of a major project on next-gen solutions for high-performance electric vehicles in collaboration with two fast-growing R&D companies and a major OEM.
About You
To be appointed at Research Fellow level, you will be educated to doctoral level (or very close to completion of your PhD) or have an MSc level to be appointed at Research Assistant level in a relevant subject and have experience in the development and testing of multivariable control and estimation strategies for optimising the ride and handling characteristics and overall system efficiency of an high-performance electric vehicle.
You will work closely with the academic staff and industrial partners in this project, be able to communicate effectively and arrange online and face-to-face meetings at various sites across the UK.
