Founded in 1829, King’s College London is an internationally renowned research-intensive university in the heart of London, dedicated to driving positive and sustainable change in society and realising our vision of making the world a better place. King’s has over 40,000 students from some 150 countries, and over 10,000 employees and our network spans pioneering thinkers across all sectors, from policymakers, healthcare professionals, entrepreneurs, and scientists, to name just a few.

It is an exciting time to join us as we make several transformative investments in line with Vision 2029 and Strategy 2026. Student Success is a core pillar of our strategy, focused on enabling success for an increasingly diverse student body through world-class education. Our ambition is to transform the way in which we engage with our student communities, in the pursuit of providing a truly excellent experience for our students.  Designed with our students and staff, and endorsed by College Council, our multi-million-pound Student Success Transformation Programme is the largest of its kind in the sector.

The Transformation Programme Director will work closely with, and report to the Executive Director for Transformation of Education and Student Success (SRO equivalent) and hold responsibility for enabling and implementing our ambitious programme of work. The Transformation Programme Director will oversee programme delivery teams, develop relationships with external partners and stakeholders across King’s and beyond.

The Director will bring significant experience in development of large scale, cross organisation transformation programmes, preferably achieved across a range of sectors, and ideally utilising agile delivery techniques. The Director will have the skills and motivation to drive change whilst building collegiate relationships across our community. Significant experience and a track record of leading successful delivery of large and complex organisational change programmes, and tangible business benefits and return on investment is a must. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate a commitment to King’s principles and values, particularly around equality, diversity, and inclusion.
