Applications are invited for a Temporary post of a Research Manager within UCD School of Mechanical and Materials Engineering.
The Regenerative, Modular and Developmental Engineering Laboratory (REMODEL) research group operates in the subject fields of tissue engineering, regenerative medicine, biomedical engineering, cellular agriculture and cell culture applications. This specialist role within the REMODEL research group will enable the group's future growth and development focusing specifically on the acquisition of national and international research funding and management of research awards. The successful candidate will work with the research group leader on research development strategies, grant applications and award management. They will manage research projects to ensure successful delivery, managing international, inter-sectoral and interdisciplinary partners, and will undertake duties as required including: research dissemination to scientific and lay audiences, both written and at events; researcher training implementation; and design and implementation of innovation pathways. The candidate should have specialist knowledge of the subject fields in which REMODEL operates. To be successful in the role, the candidate should be well versed in research policy and priorities both nationally and internationally and be able to spot arising opportunities.
Salary Range: €48,380 - €61,110 per annum pro-rata at 0.5FTE
Appointment on the above range will be dependent upon qualifications and experience.
