Research Officer (Holding the functional title of Project Manager) (Ref. 522950) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Mental Health, Public Health, or other related disciplines, with at least 8 years of project management and/or supervision experience in family or healthcare research studies and services. They should have a high proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese (including Cantonese) and good communication skills. They should have the ability to work independently and in a team, be self-motivated, and be familiar with evidence-based services in health and mental health settings. They will be required to work on irregular working hours occasionally or when required.
The appointee will be responsible for leading practice-based research projects on family and health. Duties include developing evidence-based research and practice; liaising with different stakeholders such as funders, NGOs, and other institutions; conducting professional training and community education on family or individual-based psychosocial intervention; conducting group interventions; designing and implementing project evaluation and other duties as assigned.
