Fixed term, full time position available for 12 months.
This position presents a unique opportunity to the successful candidate to join the Adelaide Health Simulation (AHS) team in a research role. The successful candidate will work with the AHS team to apply for relevant grants, design research projects, collect and analyse data, and integrate evidence into current and anticipated delivery of health simulation activities.
Opportunities are available for the successful applicant to participate in the design, delivery and coordination of simulation activities, depending on the professional background of the applicant and interest in undertaking these types of roles.
AHS is a world-class education, training and assessment centre. (https://health.adelaide.edu.au/engage-with-us/facilities-services/adelaide-health-simulation) Predominantly providing experiential learning activities and assessment facilities for the Adelaide Medical and Adelaide Nursing Schools, AHS has an established reputation for excellence in the design and delivery of simulation, and management of a service unit that provides consultation to health disciplines nationally and internationally.
Term of Position: This is a fixed-term position, offered for a period of 12 months, commencing at a mutually agreeable time. Any extension beyond the 12 months would be contingent on future funding, which cannot be guaranteed at this time.
To be successful you will need:
- PhD or equivalent degree in a health-related field.
- Demonstrated research excellence, in topics that include health simulation, clinical research, OR health professions education.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research in addition to working effectively as a member of a research team.
- Commitment to the principles of equity, diversity, and inclusion.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
