Oxford Brookes is a global university with ambitions to increase its global footprint even further. The University’s new global engagement strategy is setting its ambitions for this area and the University’s leadership team is committed to achieving its aims. Oxford Brookes Global plays a central and critical role in this. Its mission is to support a truly global experience within the University, in line with University strategy. The team:

  • contributes to the internationalisation of the student experience;
  • delivers a number of internationally focused marketing and recruitment activities as part of the overall Global Recruitment Plan;
  • has ambitions to expand its reach even further by targeting a wider range of markets and maximising its network of international agents and in-country offices.

The University now seeks to appoint a driven and visionary Director of Global Recruitment to lead and shape its international recruitment strategy. This post will be line managed by the Director of Marketing, Recruitment and Engagement, and will work closely with the Pro Vice-Chancellor for International Students. In addition to leading and managing the global recruitment team, the post-holder will have a dotted line to the Head of Admissions, providing support and guidance on international aspects of admissions. The post-holder will also take a collaborative approach to shaping and delivering a coherent university recruitment plan, therefore requiring effective relationship building and influencing skills, in addition to an outstanding track record in student recruitment.
