Senior Lecturer, School of Allied Health Science and Practice

(Level B) $107,276 to $126,894 or (Level C) $130,810 to $150,431 per annum plus an employer contribution of 17% superannuation applies.

This is a full-time, continuing academic position available from 2024.

An exciting opportunity exists for a (Level B) or Senior Lecturer (Level C) in the area of Occupational Therapy to join the School of Allied Health Science and Practice, within the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to developing and delivering our innovative Occupational Therapy teaching and research programs with our inclusive, future-focussed team.

The position is a continuing and can be either a balanced teaching and research role, or a teaching focussed role.  Please indicate your preference, and whether you are applying at a Level B or Level C in your covering letter.

The successful candidate will bring their skill, creativity and experience in developing and delivering education materials for the Occupational Therapy Program and will play a pivotal role in teaching and research/scholarship at The University of Adelaide. If appointed as Senior Lecturer, the candidate will additionally contribute to the leadership and operational delivery of the Occupational Therapy program and broader activities within the School of Allied Health Science and Practice and Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences.

A PhD in the relevant discipline, and a Bachelor or Masters qualifying degree in Occupational Therapy, and clinical and/or research experience, and be eligible for registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist..

Completion of a PhD, or have equivalent qualifications and be eligible for registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist.

Experience in curriculum development, coordination and delivery as this relates to Occupational Therapy or broader allied health programs.

Demonstrated ability to lead others in the delivery of high-quality course and subject design, and in the delivery of high-quality student-centred teaching at an undergraduate level that includes the capacity to incorporate new technologies and new approaches to teaching and learning.
