Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- To handle student enquires and provide suggestions or solutions;
- To assist in student affairs, and keep track of changes in student statistics;
- To take charge of residential affairs;
- To take care of internal and external communications such as college e-mail, hotline, website, e-newsletters, WeChat account, QQ, and WeChat groups;
- To implement the whole-person education program and student activities;
- To assist the supervisor to develop and implement residential regulations and procedures;
- To act as the first line of emergency alarms about students’ safety and health.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree or above;
- At least 3 years of experience in managing student affairs, preferably within tertiary institutions or educational industries;
- Basic knowledge and skills in psychology, mental issues, and intervention;
- Strong written skills in both English and Chinese;
- Proficiency in MS Office;
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment;
- To work during non-office hours for student activities and affairs may be needed.
Salary and Benefits
Salary will be competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointments will be made under the establishment of CUHK-SZ and statutory benefits will be provided according to the prevailing labor laws applicable in the PRC. The appointee will be based at the University campus in Shenzhen, PRC.
