Applications are invited for appointment as Clinical Practitioner in the Department of Diagnostic Radiology, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 522819), to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.

Applicants should possess a medical qualification registrable with the Medical Council of Hong Kong or equivalent, preferably in the field of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) or Positron Emission Tomography (PET).  They should demonstrate proven clinical experience, with a strong interest in and commitment to medical teaching, and be able to contribute to the development of academic programs for the Department and the Faculty.  Proven capacity and interest in medical research would be an advantage.  Direct communication with patients is required and the languages employed are English or Cantonese. 

The appointee is expected to provide regular clinical services at the University’s teaching hospitals.  He/She will engage in undergraduate/postgraduate teaching in the Department and the Faculty.  Information about the Department can be obtained at http://radiology.hku.hk/.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.  The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary.
