Job Description
The successful candidate will work with A/P Yip Hon Kay John on synthesis and photochemistry of luminescent metal complexes under a project on Synthesis, Spectroscopy and Photocatalysis of Earth-Abundant-Metal-Based Emitters
The main responsibilities of the position include:
- Daily operation of a synthetic laboratory including ordering of chemicals and collection of solvents
- Synthesis and characterization of organic ligands and their transition metal complexes
Qualifications
- Qualifications / Discipline: BSc Hons major in chemistry
- Skills: Basic organic and inorganic synthesis, NMR and electrochemical measurements.
- Experience: Working experience in a research laboratory is preferable.
