The Trabolsi Research Group, New York University Abu Dhabi, seeks to recruit a Research Associate to work on designing and developing crystalline porous materials, more specifically COFs, with optimized properties.

The successful applicant will be given the opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary environment consisting of PhD-level scientists, graduate students and undergraduate students. Our laboratory conducts a multidisciplinary research focused on the design of molecular topology, supramolecular chemistry and material chemistry for health and environmental applications. The candidate will design their own course of action for developing COFs with outstanding properties to tackle the most pressing environmental challenges that our planet currently faces.

Applicants must have a PhD in chemistry or related fields. A strong experimental in organic/ inorganic synthesis and an in-depth knowledge of crystalline porous materials relevant to the project (in particular COFs) are required.

The terms of employment are very competitive and include housing and educational subsidies for children.
