Part-time Faculty Member in Public Relations and Advertising (Ref: FHSS230622)
The Department of Communication at UIC invites applications from student-centered scholar-practitioners trained to teach Advertising Copywriting to Public Relations and Advertising students. Teach various forms of copywriting, including but not limited to headline writing, long copy and short copy, copywriting for traditional media and new media, short video advertising script writing, brand story, TVC script writing, etc. Assignments can be written in Chinese.
The applicant must possess a Master’s Degree or above in relevant majors, such as Communication, Media Studies, Advertising, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, etc. The applicants need to have at least five years of industry experience and have representative and compelling copywriting portfolio.
Appointments to this position will initially be made on a fixed-term contract of one semester or one year.
