The Library is seeking an experienced professional to fill the ongoing role of Library Digital Experience Manager.
About the Role
The Library is seeking an experienced manager, with strong technical skills and a vision for the future, to lead our Digital User Experience team. As the Library Digital Experience Manager, you will lead a team responsible for the design, configuration, support and administration of the Library’s digital client-facing engagement initiatives, its discovery interfaces and associated projects that support the University’s academic program and research strengths. Ensuring the team is at the forefront of learning, teaching and research initiatives and directions within the Library, and supports digital service transformation and reinvention via ongoing co-creation with the University community to ensure optimal digital experiences is key to being effective in this role. Skills in leading and engaging with change, creating a team environment which fosters proactive thinking and cross-team engagement will enable your success as the Library reimagines its services and how we bring knowledge creation to life.
Skills and Experiences
The successful candidate will have:
- Extensive relevant experience at a management level and possession of a relevant degree, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training. Eligibility for professional membership of Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA) preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of and recent experience with discovery interfaces and digital engagement trends as they apply to client focussed services in large academic libraries
- Extensive experience in developing and communicating team objectives, priorities, and organisational values to them and an ability to plan strategically in an academic environment.

Remuneration Package: HEW Level 9 $146,398 to $156,342 p.a. (comprising Salary of $123,708 to $132,111 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading)
