Nursing Simulation Specialist
Our institution is looking for a Simulation Educator College Lead for Undergraduate Health Sciences Education. The successful candidate will join our dynamic team of health science educators and serve as a key member of the faculty responsible for designing, implementing, delivering, and assessing undergraduate health education curricula specifically focused on simulation-based training.
Qualification & experiences:
Minimum of a master’s degree in nursing, Education, Health Sciences or related field.
Five or more years of experience in simulation-based education design and delivery in undergraduate health science education.
Experience in teaching, curriculum development, and assessment in undergraduate and postgraduate health science education.
Strong leadership and communication skills, and ability to collaborate effectively with faculty, staff, and students.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, and work effectively with diverse groups.
Proficient in technology and software systems used in simulation-based education.
English: Excellent oral and written essential - IELTS 7.5 or Equivalent
Develop, implement, and assess undergraduate health science education simulation-based curricula, including the selection of simulation models, techniques, tools and technologies, in collaboration with faculty, simulation technicians, and other educational stakeholders.
Serve as the primary contact for simulation-based education for undergraduate health science education programs across all programs on all campuses, and ensure that all simulation-based education is aligned with each department’s mission and goals.
Train, supervise, and evaluate simulation technicians and simulation educators to ensure quality assurance and improvement in the delivery of simulation-based education.
Develop and maintain partnerships with external organizations and agencies to stay up to date with simulation-based education trends, seek out best practices, and collaborate on research and development.
Evaluate and analyse the effectiveness of simulation-based education using valid assessment tools and data analysis techniques, and implement improvements as needed.
Have overall responsibility for the maintenance of the simulation equipment across all campuses
