Job Description

The project is an exciting inter-department collaboration between the Department of the Built Environment and the Department of Psychology in NUS. The Research Assistant will work with colleagues to develop behavioural change strategies for students living in NUS to reduce electrical consumption. Fresh graduates interested in the topic are invited to apply.

Job Requirements

  • Recognised Bachelor’s Degree
  • Able to conduct and document literature reviews
  • Analyse and interpret data
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Experience with writing research reports and/or journal articles and/or research proposals
  • Experience with social research (e.g. surveys and focus groups)
  • Candidate maybe expected to travel locally to conduct surveys and focus groups
  • Perform tasks related to the project described

Skill & Competencies:

  • Project management
  • Proficient in English writing, presentation and communication
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with milestones and deliverables
  • Able to work in a team with a strong sense of initiative for learning
  • Highly motivated and well-organised
  • Strong attention to details
  • Preferred: Previous experience with social research using surveys and focus groups
  • Compulsory: Ability to use statistical software (e.g. SPSS) and qualitative analysis software
