International Research Rankings Advisor

Do you want to be responsible for driving Massey University's performance in international research rankings? Do you enjoy working collaboratively with academics in helping them to tell their story of impact?

This exciting role will work collaboratively across the University and will ensure that Massey University is positioned to raise our profile and reputation on the world stage by improved ranking placement and enhanced linkages to UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This will be achieved through implementation of TePouRangahau - Research Plan (in development) and working with Colleges and central support functions, including Strategy and Planning, Research Operations and the Graduate Research School.

To be successful in appointment to this role, you will hold a tertiary qualification and have strong understanding of international rankings, their methodologies, and ways to improve university performance. As a self-starter you will naturally seek opportunities to evolve and grow the role and be comfortable working both autonomously and as a contributing member of the team. An attention to detail, with an ability to critically analyse, interpret and communicate data and creatively solve problems, is key to success in this role. You will be at ease building and maintaining effective relationships whist communicating complex ideas in a simple way to a range of audiences.
