Research Assistant, Unity Developer

Overview

SIA-NUS Digital Aviation Corp Lab aims to create innovative technologies that accelerate digital transformation, redefine air travel, and enhance safety and security. We're seeking two experienced Unity Developers to join our team.

As a Unity Developer, you'll develop and maintain projects, including networking, animations, timelines, work with URP, and Oculus VR integration. You should have a solid understanding of Unity development and experience in creating both single-player and multiplayer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Unity-based projects.
• Create networking solutions for real-time multiplayer experiences.
• Utilize Unity's animation system and edit 3D models as needed.
• Optimize the Universal Rendering Pipeline (URP) for multiple platforms.
• Integrate Oculus VR features and interactions.
• Debug, test, and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with artists, designers, and developers.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements.
• Provide technical support and documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in Unity development.
• Demonstrated experience with networking and multiplayer game development.
• Proficient in using Unity's animation system and URP optimization.
• Experience in Oculus VR development and integration.
• Strong programming skills in C# and familiarity with other programming languages.
• Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Good-to-Haves

• Experience with other VR/AR platforms and SDKs.
• Familiarity with game design principles and best practices.
• Experience in developing for mobile platforms (iOS, Android).
