Job Description

The Centre for Quantum Technologies (CQT) is a research centre of excellence at the National University of Singapore doing cutting-edge theoretical and experimental science.  CQT is located on the campus of the National University of Singapore and offers a friendly, international work environment. The candidate will be expected to implement NISQ algorithms on cavity QED platforms. The candidate should be conversant with Qiskit on IBM computers or other equivalent software platforms. Aside from this project, the candidate will also be expected to helm the quantum synchronization project.

The position is in group of Assoc Prof Kwek Leong Chuan, which is interested in various issues related to entanglement ranging from distributed quantum computation to measurement-based quantum computation to quantum metrology and hybrid quantum systems. Members of the group are also involved in quantum simulations, quantum state transfer and the investigation of open quantum systems.

Requirements

  • Minimum Qualification: PhD degree in physics or related area.
  • A good knowledge of quantum algorithms is preferred.
  • Able to work independently and multi-task
