About the role

The Office of Teaching & Research Technical Services is seeking a highly motivated individual to join one our technical teams.

The Technical Support Officer, Creative & Performing Arts will perform the preparation of practical teaching spaces (both indoor and outdoor) specific to the teaching of NSW Education Standards including materials and equipment prior to practical classes.

Skills and Experiences

To be eligible to apply for this position, you must have experience in visual, creative and or fine arts or a related discipline. You will also be client focused, can think innovatively, be a good problem solver with the ability to identify and implement solutions. Previous experience working in a visual, or creative arts related facility or in education environment would be an advantage, including a demonstrated understanding of relevant equipment and resources used in visual, creative arts.

Applicants should be aware that this role will be based at both Bankstown City Campus and Campbelltown Campus, however as Western Sydney University is a multi-campus university travel to other campuses may be required when operational needs arise.

Remuneration Package: HEW Level 5 $91,209 to $103,148 p.a. (comprising Salary of $77,073 to $87,161 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading)
