About the Role
The School of Science is a large and comprehensive school with learning, teaching and research excellence encompassing a wide range of agricultural, astronomic, biological, chemical, environmental, food, forensic, medical, nutritional and physical sciences.
The Research Project Administrative Officer supports the Chief Investigator to assist with the research project work within the Grains Research and Development Corporation (GRDC) and Hort Innovation projects (HIA). The position liaises with research collaborators and industry partners and works in collaboration with other professional staff within the School, to ensure the efficient operation and provision of high-level administrative support across a range of Projects. The Research Project Administrative Officer ensures that projects operate within prescribed timelines, facilitates the administrative side of relationship building between stakeholders (funding bodies, industry partners), ensuring that the research team receives adequate attention and support.
This is a full-time, fixed-term position until 31 December 2024 based at Western's Hawkesbury (Richmond Campus).

Remuneration Package: HEW Level 5 $91,209 to $103,148 p.a. (comprising Salary of $77,073 to $87,161 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading)
