The Role

We are seeking a Research Assistant to work on a contract for the Copernicus Climate Change Service undertaking the rescue and management of global historical meteorological data holdings. The work involves interfacing with various international partners on the rescue and procurement of meteorological holdings and their analysis. A particular focus is on images rescued from fiche and film of African data holdings.

Research Assistant (2023) Salary Scale: €29,275 p.a. (1 point with increment)

Appointments will be made in accordance with public sector pay provisions.
