Senior Research Assistant (holding the functional title of Post-doctoral Researcher) in the Centre for Advancement of Chinese Language Education and Research (CACLER) within the Faculty of Education (Ref.: 520823) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a PhD degree in Psychology, Education, or other relevant fields; a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; good interpersonal and organizational skills; and a strong sense of responsibility. They should also be familiar with statistical analysis (e.g. SPSS) and MS Office applications (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), self-motivated and able to work independently and in a team.
The appointee will assist the Project Investigator and the Research Manager to conduct research on the teaching and learning of Chinese language for non-Chinese speaking kindergarten students. He/She will be expected to review literature, conduct data collection, analyze research data, draft research reports and papers, and perform other duties as assigned.
