We are looking for a self-motivated individual who can demonstrate a willingness to work with colleagues on initiatives and contribute to the administration of the School, Faculty and University.

The Business School invites applications for a Lecturer in Business Analytics. The position is open to candidates wishing to pursue a teaching and research focused role where there is an expectation the candidate can demonstrate the ability to teach into both undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the areas of business analytics and publish in reputable academic analytics-related journals (FT-50/ A* ABDC journals).

The Adelaide Business School has a stimulating multidisciplinary learning environment that fosters the pursuit of leadership and excellence in both research and education. It is an Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) accredited business school offering a broad range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in the core discipline areas of accounting, finance, international business, management and marketing, as well as a suite of MBA programs. The Business School also offers high quality research programs at the honours, masters and PhD level.

To be successful you will need:

  • Possess a PhD in Business Analytics (or close to submission) or in a related field.
  • An ability to teach in relevant undergraduate and postgraduate business analytics courses.
  • Ability to develop new courses in the area of business analytics.
  • Ability to publish in reputable academic analytics-related journals, including in leading business journals (FT-50/ A* ABDC journals).
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a professional and collegial manner, and to build rapport with all levels of academic and professional staff within a diverse and inclusive work environment.
