Senior Lecturer or Senior Lecturer (Teaching) in Accounting

Worcester Business School is looking to expand its academic teaching and research staff base. This is an exciting opportunity for a colleague to join Worcester Business School’s Department of Management and Finance and to help us deliver excellent teaching to support Accounting and Finance undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, with a particular focus on financial accounting and reporting, financial management, business strategy, taxation and computerised bookkeeping. The post holder will contribute significantly to teaching on our suite of thriving Masters courses and supervise post graduate and undergraduate dissertations. The successful candidate will inspire students and work collegiately to contribute to the School’s aspiration to develop professionals in ethical and sustainable business and enable graduate work readiness.

You will need to have appropriate qualifications and contemporary knowledge in at least one of the areas outlined above. Experience of delivering successful teaching in Higher Education or evidence of high-quality presentation skills and experience of developing professionals is a must. The successful candidate will join our expanding research and knowledge exchange community, and where appropriate demonstrate their ability to contribute to high quality research and/or knowledge exchange activity within the discipline.
