Maynooth University is committed to a strategy in which the primary University goals of excellent research and scholarship and outstanding education are interlinked and equally valued.

We are seeking to appoint a post-doctoral researcher to work on an Erasmus + funded Teachers Academy research project. The TUTOR project aims to create partnerships of teacher education and training providers to support greater inclusivity in education. Partners are working with specific cohorts of students from LGBTQI+, migrant, socio economic disadvantaged, and ethnic minority backgrounds. The TUTOR project aims to provide opportunities for teachers in second level, vocational education, and training (VET) and further education (FET) to contribute to the discussion, understanding, implementation and practice of inclusive education, in collaboration with teachers in partner countries, in response to evidence-based needs analysis. See project website for more information at: http://tutor-project.eu/

The position will involve liaising with project partners and stakeholders across Europe and Ireland to conduct research, support the design and delivery of CPD and training activities. Additionally, the researcher will contribute to project management and reporting to the European Union.
