We are seeking to appoint an Associate Professor in Medical Education (Physician Associates)  to lead the planning and delivery of our innovative Master of Physician Associate Studies (MPAS) programme. This is an exciting time to join the Physician Associate team as we prepare to take our fourth cohort of students on the new professional masters programme and support our existing students toward success on the current MPAS programme as well as in the Physician Associate National Examinations

The role holder will contribute significantly to the School's Leadership Team, providing strategic and operational leadership for the MPAS programme.  The post holder will identify and lead on priorities; and ensuring that governance, structures, processes, and resources are in place to deliver a high quality programme.   You also will lead, manage and nurture the development of a staff team. The post holder will coordinate and deliver a wide range of medical topics and clinical skills to Physician Associates Students and you will become involved in research opportunities alongside the work of our research teams.  

You will join a truly innovative team in the School of Pharmacy and Medical Sciences with a suite of fully integrated undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and excellence in research with a focus on training healthcare professionals to improve population health outcomes. You will take a proactive role in developing new learning materials alongside our highly experienced and supportive team. We use a range of innovative pedagogical methods including Team-based Learning.
