About Flinders Health2GO

Flinders Health2Go is a modern health clinic that offers optometry, audiology, physiotherapy, speech pathology, exercise physiology, occupational therapy, and nurse practitioner services. Combining excellence of care with the latest technology and research, our experienced team are teaching the next generation of allied health professionals —while providing the most up-to-date treatment and care.

About the Role

This is a varied role in a multi-disciplinary environment, where you will provide technical and administrative support to the Health2GO Clinics run by the University. These clinics include audiology, optometry, physiotherapy, occupational therapy and speech pathology.

No two days will be the same, with your duties including dispensing optical and hearing appliances, working with clinical educators and students to improve processes, managing the referral and appointment process for the clinics, stock handling, appointments and general enquiries. You will also be tasked with the management of all client records and data in a confidential and accurate manner, along with processing clinic payments, which are managed via a variety of sources. You will also assist in marketing and promotion of Health2GO clinics to internal and external stakeholders.

About You

Your previous experience working in a clinical or primary healthcare setting will ensure you are skilled in the triaging of medical conditions, along with the dispensing of appliances and equipment from any of the professions operating in Health2GO including physiotherapy, audiology, optometry, speech pathology, occupational therapy and others.

You will have well developed interpersonal skills, and a courteous and professional approach to effectively deal with a range of patients with varying health conditions and needs, and your proven, effective organisational skills will enhance your ability to prioritise and meet deadlines and demonstrate consistency and accuracy in undertaking tasks such as data entry and maintaining records.
