Applications are invited for a temporary post of a Research Assistant within UCD School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering.

Looking for flexible CMOS RF/mixed-signal circuit designer to help and support in the development of Radio Frequency (RF) Integrated Circuits.

This SFI funded project aims to implement mm-wave transmitters with digital pencil beam steering for 5G communications and radars. A research assistant will support the development of high-energy efficient and high-performance mm-wave transceivers and frequency synthesizers. The successful candidate will be responsible for the circuit design simulations and verifications, schematic and layout design of various Radio Frequency (RF)/mixed signal CMOS circuit building blocks to support the system. The candidate will also support the design of measurement environment and setups.

Fixed salary: 29,275 Per Annum

Appointment on the above range will be dependent upon qualifications and experience.
