Applications are invited for a temporary post of a Research Engineer-RF-DAC within UCD School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
This research project aims at developing circuits for technologies such as 5G/6G wireless communications and related AI assistant approaches. This project has a focus on innovation, design, the implemention and measurement of radio frequency (RF) and millimeter wave (mmW) circuits, systems on advanced technologies including CMOS bulk and SOI that supports 5G-Advanced/6G wireless applications, high augmented reality or virtual reality, and 3D holographic communication. As this specification requires a large bandwidth where it is challenging to balance all performance aspects, the demand to conduct research on innovative ideas that push the circuit architecture beyond the conventional realm is critical.
