Learning Effectiveness Evaluation Investigator (KTP Associate)

Full-time, Fixed Term: 27 months

An exciting opportunity for a Learning Effectiveness Evaluation Investigator (KTP Associate) has become available to work fulltime on a 27-month Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP). The aim of the project is to evaluate and deliver inclusive and effective AI learning support solutions with the highest degree of psychological validity.  This is a brand-new role at a leading Edtech business with operations in UK, Canada, USA and Philippines.

Habitat Learn was formed in 2018 to support students with learning and hearing difficulties through the provision of notes, software and captioning solutions. It has since developed a range of AI-based tools to support learners including its own proprietary speech-to-text and conversational AI technologies. Habitat Learn has 300 higher education institution customers in North America and the UK, together with being an approved Disabled Student Allowance supplier for UK Universities.

The KTP associate will have access to KTP Associate training courses and dedicated time and a budget to support their professional and personal development.

The successful candidate must possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a Psychology, Education or Social Science related area.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge and/or experience in some of the following areas:

  • Experience of quantitative research methodologies and statistical analysis
  • Experience of qualitative research methodologies and analysis
  • Skills of writing and preparation of reports
  • Presenting feedback and findings to a range of stakeholders.
  • Delivering results in a highly dynamic organisation under tight schedules.
  • Practice of working independently.

The successful candidate will be employed by the University of the West of Scotland (UWS) on a hybrid working basis, with a home base at Habitat HQ in Woking and the necessity to travel within the UK for data collection and project meetings.
