Are you someone who is interested in supporting and growing the University of Surrey’s International Mobility programmes? We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our team in the International Engagement Office and support our strategic objectives to boost international mobility. An important part of the International Engagement Strategy is to develop the range and extent of student mobility, with a particular focus on students from underrepresented and disadvantaged backgrounds.

We are recruiting for an International Mobility Coordinator to coordinate and administer the University’s study and work abroad activities. The main focus of the post will be on supporting the coordination of outbound mobility at every stage of the mobility cycle, including promotion of opportunities, reviewing applications, coordination of documentation, event planning and processing of grant/scholarship payments.

We are seeking a customer-focussed individual with proven administrative experience and knowledge of the Turing Scheme to take on this student facing post. Working as part of a team, you will support a range of internal and external stakeholders including students, faculty staff, partner institutions and professional services colleagues at Surrey. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and presentation skills, strong digital skills, exceptional organisation skills with an attention to detail.

We work in a fast-paced and changing environment so we are looking for someone who is proactive, adaptable and ready to take on new challenges. We’re looking for someone with an inclusive and collaborative approach and a passion for supporting students to fulfil their potential.

Please contact Liz Lynch, International Mobility Manager, at e.lynch@surrey.ac.uk if you wish to discuss this role.

Interviews to be held on the 28th and 29th of June.
