About the Role

We are currently seeking an Executive Officer to provide high-level support to the President and Vice-Chancellor. Working collaboratively with members of the Office of the Vice-Chancellor, you will ensure the provision of highly efficient and effective executive services.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have advanced interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with substantial experience within an executive context.

You will have the ability to demonstrate initiative in your work, have high level problem-solving and decision-making skills, strong attention to detail, strong time management, as well as the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across all stakeholders’ groups.

Some of the key position capabilities of the role include:

  • High level capability to triage activities quickly and effectively and lead a support team competently in delivering a high standard of outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse and interpret complex information across a broad range of topics and provide advice on high level matters.
  • Extensive experience in the preparation of reports, documents, briefings, and presentations to a very high standard.
  • Demonstrated ability in using initiative, problem-solving, priority setting and working to deadlines, with high level organisational capabilities.
