The Faculty of Business is an AACSB-accredited one aiming at continuous improvements of our academic level and education service in the liberal arts setting. The Faculty plays an important role in educating students about cutting-edge, practical knowledge and skills, improving students' academic and professional capabilities, as well as enhancing students' awareness on social responsibilities. Furthermore, we have been devoting every effort to the sustainable development of Lingnan University in the academic community and the substantive realization of our values and mission in the Hong Kong society and the world.

The main responsibilities of the posts are to (1) apply for internal and external research grants; (2) coauthor original research papers with some colleagues in the Faculty and publish these papers in high quality journals; (3) teach courses for undergraduate and taught postgraduate programmes in the Faculty. The appointee for the Faculty of Business and The Hong Kong Institute of Business Studies (HKIBS) may be required to undertake certain administrative duties.

General Requirements

Applicant for the posts should have obtained a PhD degree in relevant business fields within the past two years, and he or she should demonstrate commitment to research. The research fields of ideal candidates include, but are not limited to business intelligence, data analytics, management science, and operations management. Excellent communication and presentation skills in English are essential.

Applicants should provide a CV and information about their work experience, qualifications, research interests and achievements. A statement of their publications and of any articles currently under review is required.

Appointment

The conditions of appointments will be competitive. The rank and remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits include annual leave, medical and dental benefits, mandatory provident fund, gratuity and incoming passage and baggage allowance for the eligible appointees. Experienced Postdoctoral Fellow may carry a functional title of Research Assistant Professor. Appointment will normally be made on contract basis for two years.
