The Faculty of Engineering and Science at the University of Greenwich is an inspirational place of learning, which is fully committed to delivering a first class teaching and research experience coupled with pro-active engagement in internationally recognised research. The Faculty is currently looking to expand its research staff base with an enthusiastic individual who has a commitment to the highest standards of research, to enable the Faculty to achieve its strategic directives.

The company is major producer of formulated products, the focus here will be on characterising state of the art materials for next generation domestic applications. 

The successful candidate would normally be expected to hold (or soon to be awarded) a Doctorate in a Chemistry or Formulation Science(e.g., Chemical Engineering) discipline. Experience in formulation orsurfactant chemistry and the interaction of the surfactants with surfaces or polymers in aqueous media is essential. They would be expected to take a lead role in developing complex work programs and project plans. They will also have experience in a range of experimental methodology for the characterisation of surfactant systems, ideally NMR.
