As a Lecturer for the School of Engineeringand Built Environment you will make meaningful contributions to the teaching effort of the University and to carry out activities to maintain and develop scholarly, research and professional activities relevant to the School. As a Lecturer in Construction Management, you are expected to carry out independent and team research and required to supervise postgraduate research students. 

The successful candidate will develop and deliver related courses and will contribute to the development and improvement of the Bachelor of Construction Management (Honours), Bachelor of Engineering (Honours), Master of Engineering Project Management and related programs.

What we can offer

This is a continuing, full-time position and will be primarily based at the Griffith University Gold Coast campus. As Griffith is a multi-campus University you may be required to work across other campus locations.

The full-time equivalent base salary will be Lecturer (Level B) is in the range $105,144 - $124,862 per annum + 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $123,019 - $146,089 per annum.

To be successful in this role, you will hold a doctoral or masters qualification of equivalent accreditation and standing and/or significant progress towards the completion of a doctoral degree in a relevant discipline or field. You will also have, but not limited to: 

  • Extensive teaching experience fostering outstanding student interaction through innovative and effective methods. 
  • Leading subject matter expertise in Construction Management, in areas such as construction technology and/or building surveying. 
  • Proven experience and willingness to continue undertaking research that is publishable in quality outlets with the high potential of attracting and generating funds. 
  • Demonstrated proactive approach to contributing meaningful service to the School of Engineering and Built Environment that will engagestakeholders positively.
