This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to join the University of Aberdeen in the newly created role of Director of Student Recruitment. Reporting to the University Secretary and Chief Operating Officer, and in partnership with the Vice-Principal for Global Engagement, the successful candidate will lead the Student Recruitment function to ensure delivery of a proactive marketing and student recruitment service. The successful candidate will also work closely with the other members of the Senior Management Team, our Deans, Head of School, and colleagues in other Professional Services Directorates.

The post holder will support the Vice Principal for Global Engagement in developing the University’s medium-term strategic recruitment objectives and will be responsible for the delivery of our annual student recruitment targets, supporting diverse and high quality applicants.

This post is aimed at individuals who have a significant track personal track record of success in developing and leading high profile strategic student recruitment initiatives.
