The Faculty of Mathematics, Informatics and Statistics invites applications for a
Full Professorship (W3) of Computer Science
with Focus on Media Informatics
(Chair)
commencing as soon as possible.
The professorship represents Media Informatics in research and teaching, with a focus on interactive media systems. Research topics include software development for interactive media, media systems for communication, interactive systems, artificial intelligence for media creation and processing, multimodal user interfaces for interactive media, usable security and privacy aspects of interactive systems, and interactive computer graphics. The professorship contributes to teaching in the Bachelor and Master programs on Media Informatics, Computer Science and related studies.
Prerequisites for this position are a university degree, a doctoral degree or a comparable specific qualification, teaching skills at the university level, excellent academic achievements and a productive and promising research program.
Active contribution to the academic administration as well as the acquisition of third-party funding is expected.
