Faculty / Directorate

The Faculty of Computing, Engineering and Media is home to a diverse range of courses, in line with emergent demand and the nature of these fast-moving, competitive disciplines. We have a solid track record of ground-breaking research and in REF2021, 2/3 of the School’s research output was considered to be world leading or internationally excellent. Computer Science at DMU is ranked 151-200 worldwide in the Shanghai Ranking, and 201-250 in the THES World University Rankings due to the international nature and high relevance of its research. Alongside the university as a whole, we have huge ambitions for the future in terms of our offering to students and the quality and scale of our research.

Role

The role requires applicants to effectively teach modules within the field of Cyber Security. As part of this responsibility, you will be tasked with leading, developing, and enhancing modules to ensure their relevance and currency. 

Ideal Candidate

We are seeking an exceptional individual who can provide outstanding teaching in the relevant areas of expertise at our university. You will have a positive attitude, good communication skills and share our ambition to further develop our identity and explore new opportunities for growth. We are particularly interested in applicants who possess a Ph.D. in Cyber Security or a related discipline.
