University College Birmingham has an exciting new role within the Commercial Services department for a Conference & Events Co-ordinator. You will liaise with current and prospective customers interested in using the University’s state-of-the-art facilities, co-ordinating and supporting on events.

The University facilities include numerous training kitchens, a Restaurant, large lecture theatres, specialist teaching areas, classrooms/meeting spaces and residential accommodation.

This exciting role is the perfect opportunity for someone looking to work in Events without the unsociable hours, as there is limited weekend or evening work, in addition to a closedown period over Christmas and New Year’s Eve. The University does not hold Weddings.

You will have experience of working in Conference/Events or Sales, the ability to seek and convert enquiries into sales; in addition to strong administration skills and exceptional customer service skills.
