Applications are invited for an open-rank faculty position in the area of Digital Media at the Singapore University of Social Sciences.

The School of Science and Technology (SST) promotes profession-centric and career-ready education in Science and Technology. Our inclusive, immersive and in-employment education transforms SST graduates into professionals equipped with the relevant knowledge, employable skills and work experiences.

SST is now looking to recruit passionate full-time faculty members in the area of Digital Media who are aligned with our education aspiration. The responsibilities of the full-time faculty members include teaching and developing courses for full-time and part-time undergraduate degree programmes, conducting academic and/or applied research, and working with industry partners to deliver professional certification courses and raise the level of knowledge and proficiency of students to high industry standards.

Job Requirements

  • Ph.D. degree holder in Digital Media, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or relevant disciplines. Candidates with strong knowledge and industry experiences in growing areas such as AR/VR/MR, Virtualisation, Animation, Visual Effects and Computer Vision will have an added advantage.
  • Strong interest to conduct teaching and research in Digital Media disciplines.
  • Evidence of high quality publications in international peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and engage positively with colleagues and external stakeholders.
