Location: Based at the SGH Campus within the Institute of Developmental Sciences building

The School of Human Health and Development (HDH) technical team is looking to recruit a new team member to support the laboratory activities within the Institute of Developmental Health. This post is for a fixed term until May 2023.

The successful candidate must be a team player and be able to assist with the support of infrastructure, basic laboratory equipment and facilities and some sample management. While the post will not directly support research activities, the successful applicant will have opportunities to learn practical laboratory skills, suitable for a continued technical career.

Previous laboratory experience is an advantage but not essential, with full training in routine laboratory processes and Health and Safety provided. 

The HDH technical team is an adaptable, proactive and hardworking team and the ideal candidate should have a good range of soft and practical skills that will complement the team’s work ethic, a keen eye for accuracy, efficiency and attention to detail.
