We are seeking a Business Development Manager* who is passionate about supporting cutting-edge research in a growing team of enthusiastic colleagues. You will join a group that has a culture centred around the team and is very supportive of one-another. You will be self-motivated, a strong communicator, flexible, able to work both independently and as part of a team, able to manage time efficiently and able to work with a wide variety of external partners.
You will have the opportunity to thrive in a university environment, supporting the development of future technologies. You will play a fundamental role in the success of CORNERSTONE by developing new business and ensuring that opportunities to support the development of UK science are not missed.
The primary goal of this Business Development Manager post is to generate impact for both CORNERSTONE and the research we support. You will achieve this by growing existing collaborations, generating new business, hosting match-making events to bring like-minded researchers together, and leading an improved client experience. You will work closely with our partners to promote the CORNERSTONE capabilities to prospective collaborators. You will ensure Equality, Diversity & inclusion are key considerations for all outreach, training, and marketing activities. You will host training events and seminars, as well as attend conferences and exhibitions to promote the CORNERSTONE activities.
