Department of Fashion & Textiles
The Department of Fashion & Textiles is the school’s largest department, offering design, leadership & strategy, and marketing education, at undergraduate, taught-postgraduate, and doctoral levels. The department supports one of the largest international student communities in Europe studying fashion leadership, marketing, management, and strategy programmes, whilst sustaining a long-held reputation for the nurturing of high-level design practice and craft-based skills.
The role
This role is part of the school’s Fashion and Textile department and focuses on maintaining our growing national and international reputation in Fashion Management, including marketing, management, branding and the digital realm in this ever-evolving area. The role will focus on high quality education and research delivery that complement the school and university’s broader education and research strategy. This is an excellent opportunity to join an ever-growing school, that embraces education, research, and enterprise.
About You
You will have a proven track record of developing and delivering an excellent standard of teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate level, as well as being able to develop a variety of learning and teaching approaches to deliver an excellent level of education. If you have a growing and consistent national and international reputation in Fashion marketing, management, sustainability, research methodologies or overall fashion management across different sectors this role is for you. Both relevant academic and industry experience is welcomed.
