Greenwich Research and Enterprise (GRE) are now seeking to recruit a Contracts Officer. This post can be offered on a full or part-time basis for the right candidate. This wide-ranging role provides specialist support in the area of contractual agreements relevant to pre and post-award projects. This includes expert guidance on implementing contractual agreements during the development of various funding applications, negotiating successful awards, contract terms and consortium agreements
You will be part of a team that is responsible for drafting, reviewing and negotiation of research and knowledge exchange contracts for the University. With a strong focus on systems, compliance and customer service, you will advise and support academic and pre/post-award staff throughout the contract pre and post-award process. You will facilitate collaborations with external partners by ensuring the use of appropriate research and knowledge exchange agreements are put in place, taking responsibility of your own portfolio of contracts.
Educated to Degree level or equivalent, you will have excellent communication skills, be well-organised with the ability to multi-task to work well as part of a busy and connected team. You will be a self-starter and enjoy the challenges of a fast-moving environment in which you can make a difference. You will have strong office experience in a customer-focused environment, experience in working in a research/knowledge exchange support capacity within the Higher Education sector would be advantageous and be a competent user of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook and other software such as Adobe Acrobat.
