We are seeking to recruit an Administrative Assistant to support the Vice-President External Affairs and to play a key role within an expanding Office of External Relations at a time of exciting growth and change at the University.
The appointee will be responsible for a variety of high-level executive and operational administrative tasks with a focus on supporting the VPEA. The appointee will work closely with staff across the Office of External Relations and will liaise with other academic and administrative units of the University, and with external stakeholders on a regular basis.
Highly professional and detail-oriented, the appointee will serve as the first point of contact for incoming queries from internal and external stakeholders. They will handle a variety of administrative functions—including diary management, travel, and finances—as well as organising small events and meetings, drafting written materials, and assisting with the development of presentations, reports, and collateral needs of the VPEA.
Administrative Officer II (2023) Salary Scale: €42,143 – €60,335 p.a. (9 points)
Appointments will be made in accordance with public sector pay provisions.
