Role Description
About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Student and Academic Support team in Education Services, Embedded in Cranfield Defence and Security. Based at our Shrivenham Site at the Defence Academy of the United Kingdom, you will be joining a friendly and supportive team, committed to improving the quality of the student experience.
You will be the key point of contact and responsible for coordinating and making best use teaching facilities, enabling the production of detailed timetables which supports courses and events delivered by the school.
You will also lead in all matters of student progression and course administration for several courses. You will have excellent communication skills, capable of guiding on our policies and regulations to ensure high levels of customer service and student satisfaction. You will also build strong relationships with your course teams and other stakeholders to ensure successful course delivery.
Occasional travel to the Cranfield Campus may be required.
About You
With prior experience of academic administration, preferably from within a Higher Education institution you will be able to demonstrate a commitment to developing and leading in a customer service environment. With the required level of IT literacy, including the use of word, email, internet use, and database applications, you will have a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
You will demonstrate pragmatism and personal resilience when dealing with difficult and often sensitive student information. You will also be able to balance conflicting priorities, delegating work accordingly.
