About the opportunity

The Seymour Centre has an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Coordinator to join their team. As the Marketing Coordinator, Education, you will deliver marketing campaigns for Seymour Centre's education program, with particular focus on developing school audiences and coordinating the annual education program. Utilising your collaboration skills, you will work with the Marketing Manager and other members of the marketing team to achieve organisational objectives, maximise audience engagement, promote the Seymour brand and foster partnerships.

In this role you will use your marketing expertise to drive campaigns through multiple channels including digital, social, and print. The Marketing Coordinator plays a key role in a small and passionate team of arts enthusiasts, dedicated to developing audiences and building the Seymour Centre brand.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • build and maintain a strong database of education contacts
  • manage enquiries for the Arts Education Program from internal and external parties
  • devise and implement marketing campaigns for the Education program
  • write creative briefs and liaise with external agencies to develop campaign concepts across all marketing channels
  • maintain and update the Seymour's website, including copywriting, editing and content management
  • update and manage branding and signage both inside and outside the venue
  • coordinate marketing activity with cross promotional partners

About you

  • experience working in a marketing team, creative or digital agency
  • experience managing marketing campaigns and budgets
  • excellent proof reading, written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
  • the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • experience in building internal and external relationships with key stakeholders
  • familiarity working with Microsoft Office, digital and social media platforms
