We offer programmes at the Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels, both nationally, from our Egham and Central London Campuses, and internationally, through our global partners, including Kaplan (Singapore) and Coursera.  Additionally, the school is developing an ambitious portfolio of post experience programmes. 

The Candidate

The Department of Accounting and Financial Management is currently expanding and seeking an outstanding academic to join the team. To be successful in the department you must be passionate about teaching and learning, with a keen desire to prepare students for the changing digital world, and major business and societal challenges. The candidate must demonstrate ability to teach and assess topics both in person and online at Undergraduate/Postgraduate levels effectively and creatively. This will be aligned to the demonstrable ability to teach and assess topics both in person and online at both Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels effectively and creatively.

We are committed to multidisciplinary and responsible, challenge-led research in accounting and financial management that engages with contemporary debates in policy, profession, organizations, business and society. 

We would particularly be interested to hear from candidates with teaching experience on both areas of Economics and Finance and research in broad area of Financial Economics.  

We welcome candidates with prior business experience who wish to make an impact through research, teaching, and knowledge exchange. Experience or interest in provision/design of short courses/exec education is desirable.

The successful candidate will have a track record of impactful world-leading or internationally excellent research. Experience of developing relevant funding applications and an emerging track record of success is highly desirable.

The post is based in Egham, Surrey where the College is situated, but you may be required to undertake some work at other locations including at our Central London Campus and abroad.
